I've been using the same old machine for 3-4 years now. Its enough for the stuff I do on a comp. Even though it might get a little laggy if I play Rune and have something like win calculator running in the background...
Athlon DualCore64 5000+ 2gb ram GeForce 7900 GTX 512mb 24" Samsung screen

So you can use the calculator while playing Rune? i have allot of shit running while playing games and listening to music. and i allways play the latest pc games. wolfenstein. singularity, crysis, far cry 2. and they need good processor power. as well as gpu card. overclocking is very easy and a good push that comes free. its like buying something and get a lot better. as long as u dont push it too hard. i pushed my dual core too high and it got shit. all chips are different. i love my quad^^ but as long as u only play rune your system is enough shex.

It seems it is quite common that people want to overclock their system as much as possible. When they are done they cant actually see a real change in the performance. Unless they do some benchmark test that shows its x% better than earlier. And after a day or two they start asking why their computer isnt stable when the charts from the benchmark looked so good. Then someone tells them about the increasing heat after overclocking. And then.... Ok. I made my point. I have overclocked some old comps and I agree it can make the system performance a lot better.

Got a new comp like 3 weeks ago, so I can finally play all the modern games. Furthermore I finally don't get my fps fucked up in Rune when having more than 4 players on my screen, lolz, although my old comp wasn't too bad (?): Old one: Windows XP Professional Intel Pentium 4 3,06 Ghz ATI Radeon x1300 256MB <-- lol 1 GB RAM <-- rofl 250 GB HD <--- New one: Windows 7 Home Premium 64- bit Intel Core i3 530 Dual Core (logical quad core) @2,93Ghz + hyperthreading (Could be better though, I guess) ATI Radeon HD 5570 1024MB 6 GB DDR3 RAM 1000 GB HDD Woud like to host a server, but I read that several people with fucking Windows 7 have problems with that, I already tried alot of shit to fix it, won't work. Seems I have to rent one again^

Woud like to host a server, but I read that several people with fucking Windows 7 have problems with that, I already tried alot of shit to fix it, won't work. Seems I have to rent one again^ What kind of problems are there when you try hosting a server with Win7? I run Win7 on one of the computers and havent found any problems with Rune at all.
