Being a founder member of the original Battlezone 2 Clan VnB in the early 1990's, I think it's funny you dudes use our name.  We disbanded some years ago, although a few of us still play the game. Nowdays I mainly play Forex (foreign exchange) and win thousands every day. Beats computer games anytime. -SPAMMESSAGE - lol. |

Also quite interesting to see that the game you are talking about got released in 1999 (about the same same as Rune) which isn't even close to the early 90's. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is just a simple spam-message to lure some people to that site. I have blocked the link because spamming random sites aren't allowed here. Especially when it has nothing to do with Rune or the forums in general. |

Black, you old bastard. Been a long time, Aegis, RocketmanX, Sentient, SW and other cool dudes have sort of disappeared from the scene. Been playing 1.3 just recently on S/P, the new 'unofficial' expansion pack on instant action (extreme mode) is so efficient, it's almost impossible to beat; even with the latest gun towers, artillery, rocket towers etc. As Scion you even get rocket spires, ho. To win 1 game took 3 days. Before you can get a base up, you are attacked in various pincer moves by the latest IA. Some of the recent maps on 1.3 are most beautiful indeed. BZ2 still rocks huh? |
