I'm just wondering how large the scene is? If there's a demand I'd be more than happy to spectate as well as livestream the games onto the web, with myself commenting the game etc. But if there's no demand or people actually wanting to see other people's games I'd pass. I just want to help the community and from personal experience I find streamed games with commentators to be extremely fun to watch, at least in other games. To sum it up: If you want I'll stream the games on the web for others to watch. I see that the tourney has started so I guess I'd do it from the next round etc. I love this idea. I don't think there will be as many viewers as there are in other larger game communitys (for obvious reasons). But I would make sure not to miss a live streamed game with commentary. So I vote yes for Rune-TV. I'll even host a tourney if you make sure to stream it.

Yea, I've grown fond of the idea as I've watched alot of SC2, CS and some other games livestreamed and VODs on the web, and I'm eager to do something like that myself, so if we can co-ordinate a tournament, with me just sitting in spectate mode and streaming it out we'd have a great concept for Rune-TV.
I need a few days to get home and set my computer up for the task, but then we can test it out and after that a tournament could very much be in place!

I'll try to come up with some nice plan for a new tourney. But more about that when the bhb tournament is finished. lol. wait for my tourney to end first^^ Indeed. I dont think the community is big enough for runnig two tourneys at the same time. This weekend has been a bit crazy so I couldnt make it to Rune. Lets try to do the first match the coming week instead?

Nice shex, And yes I agree, wait a while for the BHB tourney to finish. I need to set everything up as well, install RUNE and get the stream live and everything working etc. so that'll take a while I guess.
you should add me to MSN so we can talk things through. I'll pm you with my details! I am extremely excited about this!

and also you will soon realise that a tournament with 26 players cant work out..have you realised the fact that in the next round there will be 13 players? you will need an additional player. when you have one, there will be 7 players in the additional round. you will need another additional player. this player will have an advantage because he skipped 2 rounds of the tournament.
you should have gone with 16 or 32 players from the start. but who am i telling this.

I agree with you mundas, a standard 8-16-32-64 player tournament would be ideal, but the solution to this is not to bring in another player, but instead randomly select a player that gets a pass-by from the round. Not the most ideal, but surely better than bringing in new players.
