As some of you may be aware of, one of my hobbies is music. Mostly producing, but mixing as well. I have a small crowd of fans which enjoys listening to me mix live on the net, even though i'm just as shitty at it as playing rune. Nevertheless my joy is in doing it Rune always had a good influence on my inspiration, and this evening I decided to dedicate a mix to the gamers in it. Even though I usually stick to industrial hardcore (enzyme, _Raw, armageddon project, etc) I went abit mainstream as some of the hardcore lovers would recognize the tracks. Sadly, i found out AFTER the recording my gear wasn't rigged properly, causing one deck to have a significant louder volume than the other. (yes, shame shame, should do soundchecks from now on). To save what is left, i went into a mastering suite and used some gain/normalize to compensate manually, which is a real bitch. The tracks themselves have some hints to the game and my place in it, like: - Different breed of men - Violent content - We are still here - Game dont stop - Bone Crusher - Pain till i die - Hardcore to the Penis ( ) - Nobody said it was easy If you enjoy the hardcore style, download it, put it on and enter rune. Lasts for one hour. I aint a pro, but i'm sure there are bits and pieces you'll enjoy.

i thought my media player is set to double speed before realising that its supposed to be so fast. its not entirely my kind of music, but nicely done. how did you make this exactly? did you actually make all these songs, or did you take existing ones and blend them together?

Nah Mundas, I didn't put any of my own tracks in it, it's pure mainstream hardcore (tho i did went on abit of enzyme later on). The mixing of this set was fairly easy using 3 pc's (One for mp3's, one for "~ realtime" effects & sampler and one for recording), 2 CD decks, and ofcourse a mixing panel.
After i found the time and the will to prep it all back and able to record without problems, i'll dedicate an proper industrial set to Rune.
